- Nearest biggest multi cinema is plymouth with 15 screens, but the wharf regularly shows films after they have been out for a few weeks.
- The Wharf - its ok. Nearest best one is half an hour away in Plymouth - Vue Cinemas.
- The Wharf Arts centre. Catch the films you missed when they first came out. Also if you are into bjorn again bjands.
- Tavistock has it's own cinema/theatre/art gallery/insert other here. The Wharf is small and often referred to as 'quaint'. Not exactly huge with it's one screen, and small, fold down, red velvet seats, but certainly serviceable. The cinema tends to get the films about a month after everywhere else, but The Wharf is probably better known for it's live shows, which are varied and highly enjoyable. So unless you just decide to see a fim on the spur of the moment, and/or the film'sparticularly long, you're probably better headin for Plymouth's Warner Village, with it's comfy seats and 15 screens.
- the only cinema here is the wharf which 2 b honest i wouldn't bother!unless u want 2 sit on wooden seats!
- The Wharf Arts centre has a good film programme as well as live shows
- the wharf shows some out of date films. It has only just got Final Destination
