- Cafe liason next to South West Crafts, well worth a visit
- Plenty of nice cafes and coffee shops in Tavistock depending on your own personal preference. For slightly trendy (well, about as trendy as you get in Tavi anyway) try Donella's on Paddons Row or Cafe Liason by the church. If you fancy a toasted teacake or a nice pot of tea, try the Book Stop (very compact little cafe on the top floor) or Pannier Market Cafe. For salads and some Italian dishes try the old-movie-themed Dukes, and for some interestingly flavoured pastys (or traditional if you want) try the Pasty House.
- Fridays - Coffee Morning 10.00 - 12.00 United Reformed Church
Come and enjoy a quiet tea or coffee in our newly refurbished buildings.
There is always someone to talk to if you want friendship.
- Eastgate Cafe was Goodes - (newly built and now moved to where Unigate Dairies was)Market Road
- Browns in west street-Cappucino,latte espresso-not a whiff of an instant granule
- the one by the pannier market is called Dukes
- The Wharf cafe, part of the arts centre
- Dukes is really nice, but gets busy so orders get muddled sometimes.
- That one in the courtyard outside the Pannier market. Best coffee on Dartmoor.
