• The Jolly Good Fish and Chip Shop, it's the best ANYWHERE. All the excellent 'local' shops'. It's not over commercalised, like Dawlish. Watching the big ships negotiating the harbour entrance.
• The Triangle, where you can sit and watch all the weird residents and tourists walk by, going mad for clotted cream fudge and tacky gift shops
• the brummie tourists that are mainly peaceable and have pumped x amount of money into torbay for many years
• You've just got to remember that it is a small seaside town so don't expect much to see and do. Young locals can't wait to get away but that's pretty much an inmate complex and they'd probably say that about anywhere. Great Kebabs though.
• View over the river Teign from the back beach (especially outside the Newquay and Ship Inn). Have to see it to appreciate it!
• All the tasty women on the beach...
• The air is fresh and the whole place is extremley beautiful. If you sit on the back beach at night you could be a world away. It is very beautiful. All of the people are very friendly and it's easy to make friends for life. Once you've lived there for more then five minutes you won't be able to go any where without seeing anyone you know.

• Sun and sea and being in Devon. It may not appeal when you live there, but you live in Slough and you'll soon see the appeal.
• The sea. The pubs. The pier. The estuary. The ban on dogs on beach April-October. The amazing "Brunel" rail journey along the coast from Starcross to Teignmouth. View of The Ness (Shaldon) at night.
