- Apparently the refurbished Riviera will be showing films at some time
- Herad the old Riveria is being re-vamped...watch this space
- They should really sort the riviera out, been shut for at least 6 years now, and nothings happened!!
- Scott Griffin aged 10 started a campaign to get the Cinema re opened as a cinema . This was taken up by Cllr Bladon the District Councils Executive spokesperson for Leisure, Sport, Culture and Heritage, and by Cllr Russell the Executives spokesperson for Tourism, both have been actively working hard towards a succesful conclusion in which the community cinema consortium will be able to open and operate the Riviera as a cinema again , hopefully in the not too distant future.
- It's shut over some stupid arguement with the council over seats...they were hard and uncomfortable and the council say they're listed with the building? GET A GRIP!
- Would i travel miles to see a film there ha ha thats funny i have to travel miles to see a film. Teignmouth cinema has the potential to be an awesome place but will no doubt go the route of any other awesome building here and be turned into retirement flats.
- IT'S BEEN GONE FOR AGES
- Err No... CLOSED DOWN, AND LEFT TO ROT, AND DIE...
- Our cimema has been shut down. Surprise, Surprise!
- is there one
- There used to be a cinema but thats closed. As have a lot of other places in Teignmouth.
- None , the riviera cinema has now closed its doors
- Just thought i'd say that last time I went to the Riviera there was only one other person in the whole cinema, and that was who I went with!! And they have just put the ticket prices up, again!!!
- The Riviera Cinema. Tries hard. Allegedly has great accoustics and quite possibly has. It's a shame there's only one small speaker (behind the screen). It's not uncommon to be the only person watching a film here.
- Brilliant old cinema called the Riviera, run by the parents of former Q writer/editor Bill Prince.
