  • The old non-smiling couple sold "Rutty and Hibberd's" years ago to a middle-aged couple, the female partner, Sheila, died of cancer in about 2005. The whole block has been totally refurbished, upstairs are all apartments, and the only shop that hasn't re-opened is what used to be "Rutty & Hibberd"
  • Don't allow the den to be build on with this stupid boat thing...what a waste.
  • apparently there is a street with no name now, its near the dicey o'reillys pub and next to a restaurant called the aphrodite. i've yet to check this out though.
  • After years of campaigning by residents and the last two years supported by the District Councillor, Lower Brimley residents have finally got their traffic calming scheme , work started on its installation a couple of weeks ago and it is now almost completed, Already the chicaning is proving to work in slowing down the traffic. Mrs Barbara Comer, the leader of the residents campaign has stated she is well pleased with the scheme which is proving really effective in reducing speeds through the area, making it a much safer place for everyone young and old alike. A special thanks to Councillor Bladon for all his help and encouragement, Andrew Butler at D.C.C. Highways for listening and to all who fought so hard and so long to reach this result. Residents parking in Salisbury terrace and Gladstone Place is next in line.
  • Ina hills Mum is great in bed
  • WHAT A SHIT PIT IT IS ???
  • Try the folk festival, June next year... it's great fun, apart from skanky toilets that is.
  • The Father Christmas looking man is Wes Highgate and it was the Norwhhich Union Advert. Teignmouth was also in a Natwest Advert.
  • The fire station saga continues, th etown needs a new fire station , controversy reigns over the site the firemen want and it threatens to drag on for years suggestions are now being put forward to site it at Milford Park site by the bridge.
  • P.S. The schools aren't that bad. I went there and I turned out alright (well sort of).
  • The CyberCafe is now a Tattoo shop,... if that hasn't already gone the same way :)
  • Just for fun, drive your articulated lorry down Exeter Road. A two-mile hill will test your breaks to their limits. You could be one of the lucky few who join the ranks of the "through the wall" club by smashing through the wall at the traffic lights, perhaps even getting as far as the flats beyond.
  • Teignmouth finally entered the late 19th century when a cybercafe opened in July 1998.
