- A beautiful country town on the river Teme - good for canoeing specially in the winter - on the borders of Shropshire and Herefordshire.

- In Tenbury we have a bridge. This enables residents to leave the town whenever possible.

- The best thing is the river and the churchyard.
- The RAOB (The Buffs), who are a registered charitable organisation, organise the Bank Holiday Car Boot Sales in Tenbury. They are held every Bank Holiday Monday (Easter, May Day, Whitsuntide and August on the Burgage. Money raised is distributed to Local and National Charities. The Sales attract many visitors to the town. Many of the shops in Tenbury open on the day and may of the local pubs serve food as well as the cafe in Teme Street. It makes for a great family day out in this picturesque town.
