There are several homes that contain nubile young goddesses who must at least spend *some* time walking around naked.
St Mary's Church is a fine perendicular with C14 crypt for those interested. Thirsk is full of good georgian buildings - step back from the tacky frontage of the Co-op in the Market place and you'll see a Queen Anne gem.
