  • Cross Keys, great for gambling parties, lock ins and playing poker for high stakes, that is a quid a hand.
  • Cross Keys, great if you like bitter, believe the only people who dont like bitter are girls, or puffs, like horse racing, believe the only people who dont like horse racing are girls, or puffs. Handy if you like to sneer at people who have the audacity to move from Thirsk.
  • The nelly LUV IT
  • they are all rubbish
  • Dingles, but are all full of Townies
  • friday nite a rite laugh in the dingles
  • Royal, got served since you were in nappies
  • The Little Three is the pub of choice for those for who shaving is just a pipe-dream, but the beautiful people are to be found either in the Big Three or the Darrowby. The Blacksmith's is expensive but acceptable, and the Dingles is fine when a change is as good as a rest. The Black Bull is only for those who are skint or who need to watch the footy on Sky, and the less said about The Royal, the better. Of course, if you want a quiet pint in peace, then The Fleece is a lovely spot. Anywhere else is not worth bothering with unless you are sleeping with your sister.
