  • us townies have now vacated the skatepark because it is crap
  • This is the spot for pushwoods and deathwellies where a delightful young man recently broke his arm nicking a skateboard i will now let you in on the secret this lad was a townie Suprize suprize!
  • Tesco's car park has acres of flat, smooth tarmac for boarding. Of course, you might get run over...but if you're from Norby, that's called a public service...
  • youngsters now hang out at the local primary school down green lane east
  • there isnt really many places to skate in thirsk which is a shame, there should be!!
  • The skateboard ramp will be on Carrs Field not Centenary Field and is a project of Carrs Field - Ethel Johnson Bequest Trust-ALL donations welcome (and needed)
  • The Council is planning to build a pad and ramp on Centenary Field.
