- The best people in Essex live here - Dan and Louise and babies Lois & George
- Sorry I registered I thought this was a good site but it seems full of rubbish, my family came from Landermere but then it would seem that most of you do not even know where that is
- Great as a base to visit rest of Area, cheaper than frinton ( but a bit of a walk to the beach 9* miles) nicer than Clacton or walton ( and cheaper)
cheaper than colechester but within taxi distance if you cant live without a night club.
As place to live, great if you have income and transport if to youg for either of these you could well develope empathy for those in midwest US accused of developing overly intimate relationships with their livestock.
- Although not much to do here, its very handy for three coastal resorts. Clacton, Walton & Frinton. The St Tropez of Essex!
- Sir William Gull, physician to Queen Victoria and beleived by some to be Jack the Ripper is buried in Thorpe le Soken
