| What is that? | by Dan (Member 10130992) on 26-Aug-2004 |
|
Every morning on my way to Clacton I go through Thorpe-Le-Soken station. Just before the station there is a bizarre structure in a field on the right hand side. It appears to be a hut or building with a circular 'mesh' above it. Above that is a smaller circle of things that look like they could be lights?? and in the centre what appears to be a radio antenna. Every morning I wonder what it is. ... more >> |

Do any people here with a knowledge of local history know if there was a family here back in about the 15-1600s called the Kelseys? The Kelseys, from what I have heard, are an old Pilgrim family who settled in New England back during the American colonial era. I might be distantly related to them by marriage.

He was a gunnar instructor in the Canadain Armored Corps. While there he would go into London on leaves and there met a love. Her name possibly Emma, not quite sure on that. We can only hope that son was told of father and given him his name to know. My ... more >> |
