Hello all! I've lived in America, in San Francisco for the last 30 years, since I was 6 years old in 1951, but I was born at 21 Park Vale Drive. Despite my advanced years, I have no prejudice against skateboarders. (I thought I should mention that since skateboarding seems to be the focus of this site.) Does an yone know if Peter and Sharon Ward still live in Thrybergh? (I hope I remembered Peter's wife's name correctly.) I saw them briefly in 1972, but only briefly since I was undergoing social adjustment problems at the time. Further back, about 1961, I spent a summer in Thrybergh and played soccer and cricket with Peter. While not exactly cured of my social adjustment problems, I'm coping better now. You may have heard of xmas street in thurnscoe, at xmas we had a terrible fire on our street and sadly lost two children. We have now heard of quite a few fires in local areas and we have found that there is no help fire victims. Hi all, My name is Martin Legat and I am trying to put together a family tree. One of my ancestors came from Thrybergh and was named Peter Legat, he lived in the area in the mid 18th century and married May White from Greasborough and his son also Peter married Catherine Legatt from Th rybergh? I recently visited Thrybergh but could find no information about Peter Legat, the church was shut so I could not check for any tombs etc. If anyone has any information about this guy please email me.
