- no decent food spots left, AJ's is probably the best now (has had about 3 new owners since "andrea jane") tha best one a few years ago was definately "LORNE ROAD" but now the best owner "yvonne" has sold it to some turks and they have turned it into a pizza shop (another one), signori's pizza, pizza pan, ivors was pretty good but have also sold it to turks (they're taking over thurnscoe....help!) now thay sell kebabs as well as fish & chips, cooplands was the lace to go for a good pie & peas (when thay had peas on) now the butchers on the main road is really worth visiting for pie & peas ect.

a small chippy across the road from the thurncoe inn also knowed as the new un, they have polite workers and have a wide range of food including drinks and seating the owner is (andrea jane barnett) and workers ghena,rita,tracy
- pizza pans, signoris on the front street
- Signoris Pizza, 10 Times better and cleaner than Pizza Pan
- mamas take away near fairway...its a treat.

- Ivors Fish and chip shop that make excellent home made fish cakes. Also the Pizza pan Owned by Mario where all of the Friday night fights occur.
