- I love Thurnscoe, I've lived here all my live but when I go on holiday I'm never in a rush to get home.
- TUTINGBURY 2003. What a night, great band and great DJ's playing great music. A real community gathering. Many thanks to the organisers and brains behind the mini fest in Thurnscoe, you know who you are so dont need to mention names. Looking forward to 2004, you need to be there, free entertainment and camping, plenty of free parking and no traffic jams. Thurnscoe is a great place with character and people who know how to have fun. See you all next year at Tutinbury 2004.
- The park is a disgrace, but you can generally find a few hypos if you've run out.
- everyone used to get on so well in thurnscoe and i don't mean that long ago either.heroin has torn most of the village apart.
only trouble is they pick on the wrong people instead of getting rid of the real trash.
- If anybody from Thurnscoe reads this take pride in the fact that you come from a village with a long proud history of struggle and fight. Things may be hard, but at least we are not soft stuck up southerners!
