• The people that slag off people in the village at least they all stick together unlike some villages. and who eva put tht about david hart, tht just isnt rite targeting one person it must make you feel so good about your sen putting things about people that dont know who you, you need to get a life
• houghton road (east or west) carnt see anything because david hart is fat as fuk
• Billy whitehurst scumbag
• Thurnscoe could be a nice place, but it ain't. Its full of lazy, litter throwing tossers who can't string a sentence together. Its full of ignoramus's who think they can do as they like to other people. Its the dog shit capital of South Yorkshire. The people there are low life thicko's who don't like you if you're not from the village."You're not from round here" is all they can say. thankfully not, you bunch of tossers.
• What I remember about the place was my grandparents. Beautiful people who were scared to leave the house in the years before they died. Is the clogg still there?

• Local drugs dealers closing times seem to be too early.
• Smack and now crack
• Litter, Drug Addicts, High Burglary rates
• a lot of the heroin addicts are either clean or gone (matbe we can stat getting back to normal)
• its all worse
• no decent local jobs and no respect for the community.
• Kids who tel you to f**k off.
• are people with self low esteem who are bad mouthing this village if u dont like the way this village is then f**k off coz it aint gonna change jst coz uve put a few bad words about it OK!

• Thurnscoe was never truly a bad place until the late eighties when, as most people will confirm, went to the dogs, caused by both Hickleton Main closing, and the impotation of city landlords renting cheap accomodation to problem familes. My Grandma (Elsie ellis) was the first Chairperson of the Thurnscoe Housing association when the bought all the pre-rented accomodation from British Coal in 1987
• Junkies and thieves,if we get rid of em' then maybe the village will once again be a nice place to live.The government should put right what mess they made when they closed down the pit that still had 20 years service in it.They took the jobs and money out of the area and should invest before its too late..
• the people who terrorise the village.
• the view coming into the "Top End" from Hickleton looks like Beirut on a good day.
• The people who are full of negativity and doom forecasts about any new ideas
• The feeling of abandonment by the residents and the destruction of many peoples pride by being forced to beg cap in hand to social services for money which they once had the opportunity to earn, until the government destryoed their jobs.
• The village isn't helped by peolple bad mouthing it on this board.
• High Crime rate gives Thurnscoe a bad name locally.
