Pubs

• Wetherspoons (White Ball) and the Bank are the best pubs in town and buck the trend from the grubby locally pubs like teh Four in hand (avoid) and Cross Keys
• remedies looks good but is full of inbreds. avoid the half moon like the plague the dj looks about eighty and the place is stuck in a time warp. the only good entertainment is to be outside remedies for kick out at two were you can watch all the fights it is more exciting than an episode of the bill.
• There's a Wetherspoons, the old Weite Ball, amongst other pubs. But it's the cheapest in town.
• remotely tasteful the Twyford until ten. hot guys in bands. until the clock strikes 10 pubs r full but then all the lycra wearing, overweight townies who look like the bi products of Scouser tanning intervention go to Remedies. Obviously bought hair spray in bulk to sustain their Croydon face lifts.
• I can't believe there is no mention of that amazing fighting pub, called 'The Barley Mow' This was the entire basis of the well known song 'Four men went to Mo, and only three returned'. They have a well known weekly trip out of 'the mo' where they take a trip to the Twyford and start a fight. Wonderful, Wonderful people. God bless them and their Giros.
• Twyford Inn..Full of tosser students and ugly slags.
• Is the Four In Hand a pub or someones living room?? The Prince Regent doesn't allow people in if you don't personally know the owners lips.

• Loads. But they are mostly shit. Hare and Hounds is Chapel Street is sound, as is the Twyford if it's fairly quiet. The Half-Moon though, is the worst pub you'll ever visit. Period.
• Quite a lot. Most of them are either crouded to the rafters (White Ball and Twyford), or are only frequented by a handful of hardcore regulars. Hare and Hounds in Chapel Street is the best pub in town methinks....
• 'The White Ball' is the local Wetherspoons. It's quite big, and yet it's always so fucking crouded. It is the haunt of the local public school boys from Blundell's, and the shitty garden outside does have a nice view of the River Exe. 'Twyford Inn' is a shit pit, where the Darrens go to warm up for Eagles. Probably the best pub for watching footie though. The 'Hare and Hounds' is out Cowleymoor way, and is usually a nice quiet drink. Too much Kareoke from pissed Blundell's School girls, though. The 'Cross Keys' is the wrost pub in Britain, and nobody goes there. The 'Half Moon' is in the market, and plays seventies music at a million decebels. Avoid. The 'Racehorse' is too far away. The 'White Horse', 'Queen's Head', 'Barley Mow' and 'Four in Hand' are small, 'regulars' pubs, where an intruder will be stared out of the building. In short Tiverton's pubs are shit. Go to one of the local villages, and hope for a lock-in.
