Arts, crafts and such
  • there used to be a lot of arts and craft courses in hobby craft (colliers wood) but it got shut down. very upset. South thames college near sainsbury's has loads of arty courses.
  • merton abbey mills is good for crafty things and lots of good food
  • Check out the Melting Pot gallery cafe in Franciscan Rd.
  • Merton Abbey Mills in Collier's Wood has good craft stuff and also check out www.abbeyfest.co.uk
  • Thank God there isnt art and culture in Tooting, now doubt there will be with all the middle-class ponces and students ive noticed moving to the area.There are loads of p*ss artists though. CHILLY 3:16 SAYS "Freedom for Tooting"
  • Merton Abbey Mills (the old Liberty print works), including Stephen Lewelyn pottery in the Water mill. (I know this is Merton, but it's close!)
  • Merton Abbey Mills is just down the road in Colliers Wood. Excellent and numerous Arts and Crafts stalls on a sunday
