• Cafe Mambo on Torquay Harbour has awesome latino nights in Summer. In general Cafe Mambo is the best place to meet, not many chavs if any go to mambo which is good.
• It's all gravy!! The best of life and the worst of life are in your own mind be in control.
• The cheap house prices - where else can you get a terraced house for £150,000 or less? The wonderful scenery.

• Being close to countryside and sea is nice. Cockington is the most beautiful place in the whole world once the tourists have gone (autumn is best). It's my home so i just like it anyway...Nice ice cream. Great atmosphere early evening down the harbour with all the people fishing.

• Torquay is a really lovely place to live. People that have lived here all their lives and moan should try living in another part of the country, they would soon change their minds. The bay itself is beautiful on a sunny clear day. So close to Dartmoor. Two Steam Railways nearby The Climate Things to do and places to go.
• Beautiful sunsets, the view from babbacombe downs especially when golden cap is not covered in mist, when the seagulls leave town and that eeire silence at 4.00am!
• Harbour area on Sat night. The Scenery. Lack of real crime. The people. The Winter. The Palm Trees. So much to do,see and explore. Near Dartmoor and 2 Steam Railway's. Good Food and Drink Places. Howlers Restaurant. Wonderful Bus Service by Stagecoach.

• The sea front, sunny days at Cockington, summer evenings, the new harbour area (if you avoid looking at the £1 shops it could almost be continental).

• Happy place, sunny and expensive
• In actual fact he local weather in Torbay is almost always a little better than the national or even regional forecasts since they have to cater for inland areas too. It often turns out brighter and less rainy than the forecast suggested.

• It's beautiful in the winter when it's quiet. The sea! Amazing place, but you just can't live there.
• Torquay United - The best football club in the land. All of it. Torquay really is one of the best places on earth in my opinion (apart from Watcombe). The atmosphere on a warm summer's evening here is one of the nicest feelings in the world. The people are friendly - and due to the north-south drift, it now has a reasonably cosmopolitan mix of people down here. This IMPROVES the area's culture and doesn't detract from it, like some small minded idiots think. Foriegn students add a continental air to the

• It's in Devon with some amazing scenery and coastline. In the Summer there's no better place to be. A great atmosphere round the harbour on warm summer evenings. Lots of bars and nightlife. Plenty of quality shops in town. There's always something to do (if you've got the money that is..)
