- My Kitchen My mates Kitchen, Chips alla bench and Creme de Ice dans le front de mer with the kids in the summer PUKKA!
- platters in torre - was run by silv and bambus but new owners are ok and food still v.good
- Lots of really nice coffee shops. Sorry but I cant remember the names.

- Maisons in Paignton....5/10...sometimes ok, sometimes(cough)abysmal.

- For the best breakfast in town and one of the cheapest go to Torquay Station Cafe. Eat yer Bacon and Eggs on the platform tables and take the train numbers lol! Sunday Roasts too! Yum Yum
- cafe mabmo is nice. and banx has comfy sofas, applebys is good in the summer
- Fat Catz Abbey Rd, Nosey Tony's Cafe Babbacombe, Greasey Geno's Torre,
- hmmm...I like fat catz...nice food, good coffee so I've heard. The other are a little mediocre if you ask me, nothing special.

- Lots of cafes - ie greasy spoons and tea rooms, as well as coffee shops incorporated in to some pubs (Banx Bar)
- The one on the corner near the Marina
- cafe mambos ok
- Hogshead and Banks pubs both do a decent cafe latte
- Nice venues by the sea, eg on Meadfoot, but not especially exciting.
- Millions of the type patronised by pensioners. Of trendy new coffee bars not many, but they spring up at an alarming rate.

- A few around the harbourside but a bit too expensive for my tastes
