• Friendly faces.

• -Totnes have a very few small minded people in the town. -Coral Cave; open late at night and sells everything! so handy when you've run out of milk etc. Friendly service! -A nice amount of eating houses in the town with friendly service. - If you feel like a good night, just pop down to the plains and catch the 'club bus' the last bus is up until from Torquay!

• The best thing about Totnes is that if you are between the ages of 13-18 the dumb staff in Threshers will serve you for alcohol.
• I think the town has a great atmosphere and some intersting if not odd,people living there. Great if you are a bit of a hippy.

• Relax and slow down in Totnes - but don't stay too long, it'll suck you in!
• The River, Vire Island, some really stunning scenery. A general "we couldnt give a shit what anyone else does" attitude: you never feel in danger or that someone is gonna start on you for no reason like you do in a lot of small towns. People here are allowed to be who they want and no-one bats an eyelid.
