- Take away from Totnes Balti on Ticklemore is hot (literally). Runoursdo amazing pizza..........................

- the king rooster - minging everything, takeaways at the top of time - lush burgers, i mean they are really nice. But my favourite would be the safety coffee shop, always nice smiles behind the counter.

- The Willows. Very nice veggie food. Lovely little garden round the back , and really tasty unsual grub. Go there even if you like meat, (just don't mention it too loudly...)
- Chip shop at bottom of town good.My friends used to work there.Chinese at top ok too.Not much in the way of takeaways really.
- What about that pretty little ITALIAN on the High Street?
- I HAVE to mention the Barrel House cos my mate used to work there and it is a trendy hang out. I would say Rumours on the High Street is the best place in town, nicest atmosphere and decor. The Takeaway at the top of town does lovely burgers but the chips are like eating cardboard- they used to do gorgeous chunky ones but the new ones are worse than BK fries !! Silver Grill is semi-ok but the Kingfisher at the top of town is better. The Chinese in Bridgetown and the one next to The Takeaway are both great.
