• There are always talented and musical buskers on market days in the err.. well the market.
• quite a few but no need to slag them off, dont think your better mr knowhere . com, writing statements like Most places have their mild eccentrics - as well as their buskers, crap jugglers, and plain old loonies. But selling the Big Issue doesn't automatically make you an entertainer - let's have some quality control here! ewww im the queen
• EVERYWHERE!!!, and always seem to have a dog.

• There is a samba band where people from any age with musical talent can go and have some fun.

• Many buskers ,tarot card readers hanging around
• He's not really a busker or street entertainer, but Dick "The Knicker Picker" Heale (sp?) is a local legend and is always present to oversee the Friday market. Usually sat on a chair near Harlequins bookshop opposite the square. Gurning is one of his many skills.
• The extremely vicious Big Issue seller who threatened staff at Safeway not long ago. I havent seen him for a while tho...
• Some spazz in a suit who sings Nessum Dorma, havent seen him for a while. Plenty of "spare us some change" merchants- but here in Totnes people welcome them with open arms. I have never known so many people go up to a Big Issue seller and chat away- most places they would either walk away QUICKLY or kick em in the head. ( I dont condone that BTW !)
