• We do have a W H Smith! I have only lived here for a few years but moved down (yes, I am not a native- sorry) because Totnes is great- this website seems to be quite down on it- so why do you bother with writing it, as the old saying goes. We may not have a lot of shops, or any brand names but I think the shopping is great. Having lived most of my life on the edge of a big city, it's got all I need- and I'm not a hippy or aged! Ps. Also if you are going to write a website, at least get your spelling checked etc. before you unleash it on the world.
• JEZZERILLA'S UNISEX BARBERS on the Plains is the Funkiest salon ever. Not a sign of a blue rinse or set of rollers anywhere. Lisa has transformed the humble haircut into an experience. Call in, without an appointment, and whilst you wait, play the Dreamcasts and Playstations, or surf the web. I'm telling you this as a seriously satisfied customer....!
• Totnes has a burger king- his name is Tony!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't wish to mention his surname- maybe next time!
