- There was a place between Treorchy & Cwmparc with a huge building called The NCB House it was the administrative offices of the National Coal Board. During the 1970's the local newspaper The Rhoondda Leader carried a front page article on 'Occult Practices' in the dereclict building...They alleged Witchcraft & Sacrifices had been perpetrated in the old building..Neadless to say it was like a red-rag to a bull for us teenagers who regularly broke in and scared the living Be-Jesus out of ourselves in the dank old shit-hole!
Nowadays the whole site has a Barret Home Cul-De-Sac built over it...Shades of Poltergiest there me-thinks...

- Outside (what was Tudball & Edwards estate Agents) by ther main set of traffic lights in Treorchy square after the Youth club had closed.
- Treorchy junior school playground, where up to 30 of us would hang out.
