Buskers, Street Entertainers
  • Wet weather. That'll be the only "wet weather" busking spot in Cornwall :)
  • Ramblin' Minor - a bullying little arse who insists that the only dry-weather spot in Cornwall (the subway between Lemon Quay and Tesco) belongs to him. He threatens other buskers with heavies if they try to encroach on his five hours per day. Don't give the c*nt a penny.
  • Hey check out Calvin Prior, I saw him playing electric guitar in Truro, just 14 years old and totally rocks, probs the best busker I have ever seen, gets big crowds as well
  • Rocky, he had 6 months to live 14 years ago, still drunk!
  • theres a lady who sings adn plays the guitar outside the old marks adn spencer who smiles andsays thank you anytime during her sng if you put any money in her case :)
  • Due to Cornwall's anti-work-ethic there are plenty of people trying to take your money or play you a jolly tune.
  • Woman with a guitar who has a repetoire of three songs. I saw a bloke playing the spoons in a cowboy outfit once, not sure where he is now.
  • the guy in the subway between tescos and lemon quay rocks but smells(he's mates with Rocky)
  • There is an amazing opera geezer sometimes who can't sing for love or pennies but provides a chuckle or two. Also the mimes in white - words fail me.
  • The guy outside M&S has moved... he now inhabits the subway that goes to the tesco car park. there are four mexican guys who have the M&S spot now. best to avoid... however, occasionally, there is a steel calypso band called hammered steel, and they are worth going into town to listen to.
  • I aagree with the M&S guy i wish he would play a note or something different than the same background. There are some very good human statues through throughout the year.
  • There's a very sad git with a yamaha organ outside M & S every day, I wish someone would have him put down, he is very sad.
