- Try Dower, (Weatherspoons) Tabernacle St. Bunters Bar, Kenwyn St.
- Bar 200, River St, William IV, Kenwyn St,
- Kazbar - take the right road at the coinage hall. Well nice, but they don't let you stay if you don't look like you're drinking!
- BAR 200!! Seriously underrated place that his comedy nights, pizza to order and is really chilled out. The music is great, with dj's at the weekend.
- GLOBE IS THE BEST PUB EVER AND A MIXTURE OF AGES GO IN THERE
- Bunters Bar is the only place to really get a look in - can get stupidly busy but usualy has enough people to make the place interesting. Plus you can bring your own food, nice. Cheapest drinks in Truro (except the Conservative club), big screen with lots of sport, pool tables, nice barmaids + 2 minutes from my door ! which I cant complain about. Plus since being bought by local club (L2) does offers of free entry/drinks etc.
- The Daniel Arms is good if you don't want a crowd.
- The Wig and Pen is good for a quiet pint and the City Inn' Directors is excellent.
- The SWAN which will always attract young girls and old men but never fails to raise a smile, you won't find a more minging pint of Guiness anywhere in the world. The Globe rocks, Kovora used to but is apparently gay now. The Daniell(ila) Arms is a no go zone if you want to escape with your arse or if you aren't a skateboarder
- the best two in town are the famous old golbe and the barley sheaf find em yourself
- The Globe is good, as was the barley sheaf but bear in mind it is very close to the Eclipse...
- A tie between Bunter and William IV Bunters does allow you to take your own food in though so i guess it has the edge
- William IV in Kenwyn Street, or the Barley Sheaf or if you want the chance of a fight go to Bunters
- The new land lord in the globe is trying to get rid of any one under the age of 40. I've noticed that the people get older every time I get back from uni.
- The Heron Inn, Malpas (not strictly Truro but only about 1 1/2 miles away) is a very nice pub with seats outdoors, and many summer days may be passed happily gazing out over the river and the attractive countryside. If you're into that sort of thing.
- The City (aka Tavern an Dre)
- Old Ale House
- The Globe
- The Onion
- 'The Onion' as a good pub? Only if you have a beard. There is also the 'Ale House' which has a huge selection of real ales, and peanut shell on the floor.
