The staff at the Glenfield, even if the building is a bit strange.
- Working during the summer and meeting the Locals, and other workers.
The fighter jets that whizzzzzz through over Loch Broom.

- Ullapool is home to the smallest Radio station in the UK and possible the world.
The Radio has the infamous midge count and Activity Hoilidays, where you are trained on being a presenter and on you last day you get to do you own show in you own style live on air with a copuy made that you can take home and keep!!

- Best B & B in the known universe is Strathmore House, approx 1km north of city centre - except if you are female you are only given two rashers of bacon for breakfast - men are give three rashers minimum. Also great headboards for doggy style.
- The local rocks are orgasmic - Torridonian Sandstone for sedimentary fans to Lewisian Gneiss (3.8Ga if you believe whatsisface from Nature, 1994 what was talking bollocks really cos it's all retrogressed) plus some dead neat structure at Assynt. Go there!
- Cool views. Serious drinking.
