- Skywave Studio is a cool independently owned studio in "The Gill" in the centre of Ulverston.
- The coach house at ford park is a great place to record if you want a real live sound. Just because that Bright blue studio has shiny gear with lots of lights and stuff don't mean it's better, it's just newer and done on computers, now thats not what I call rock n roll.
- Brightblue studios near the lanternhouse is expensive but has good facilities, band practice will cost you a fortune here. Ford house at the back of ford park is cheaper but the recording is not as good. You can band practice at ford house for £6.00 per hour.
- Ford House Coach house studio. Bright blue studios (next to the Lantern House)
- The Coach house in ford park (aka ford house). The place where the awesome band The Shindig practice.
- That cool guy Colin Williams manages The Coach house studios at Ford Park. Ford Park is a big open space with two playing fields a big old house and the coach house. The studio has PA Drums amps so you can just turn up with your guitar. Lots of musicians use it as its warm and also half a mile from any other houses. Open 7 days a week and only £6 per hour. As of now March 2006 we have about 20 bands using the facility with about 12 being regular bookings so its not easy to get a slot but we will try to squeeze you in. You Can also do a Live recording for only £36 for two hours and get a CD master into the bargin. 01229 581711 Colin.
- Ford Park community group run a great rehearsal studio at the coach house with all the gear you need just turn up with your guitar and colin williams will let you in for 6 quid an hour
- GRRRRRRR8 place in Ulverston for recording, rehearsal... is the community centre place at ford house. PS. Don't go there because my band is currently practising and we don't want the place to be booked when we wanna play!
- Bright Blue Studios is in the Ellers. It's new, taking over from where Colin's Southlakes place was, and is very different. I didn't recognise it. People have got good sounds there.
