  • Take the train to London then a flight to the center of the known universe and cbgb,s.
  • The Pit, Clancys, The Canteen (in Barrow.. getting extremely popular). Heard there's a big gig in coronation hall in February with Murray & The Skankers and The Shindig playing.
  • Clancys, Coronation Hall (be there, February 2nd, BIG GIG!). Canteen in Barrow is good
  • Clancy's.. which is kind of ok. The Canteen in Barrow is very good (though it is a bit out of the way).
  • Ford Park runs annual Gig in the Garden in August featuring bands from the coach house. Audience of 3-400. Now in its 4th year
  • the u.v on union street,open mike nights with chris garrett,gav and tom with a great 80`s and 90`s selection every month,monster monster nights good crack
  • band nights at Clancys once a month NO ALCAHOL 7 -10
  • Clancy's!!! and Ulverston Victoria High School (students only :(). Barrow has some good places but your best bet is in Lancaster, I heard there are loads of performances there.
  • see above.occasionally privately organised parties, though free for all.Musical Mayhem/Crystal beats good crack, far superior music 2 that of clanceys or buffers
  • can't beat a good 'do 'at the four seasons.. cheap booze... is that why they always run out? oh and they could do with investing in a lemon to pop in your g&t
  • The Rose & Crown in the middle of town. Check it out especially if theres an R&B/Blues band called 'The Cahonies' playing there, which they do on a monthly basis. Top band, great music, great atmos.
  • Club LA 12 is run by Ulverston contemporary music association for original bands from the southlakes area. Upstairs at The Cons club every fortnight.
