- kates skates in barrow is so big because the people who run it care more about money than they do about skating. they rip skaters off and don't put any money back into skating. working class heroes is a new skate shop in ulverston and is skater owned. they put alot of time and money into getting ulverston a skatepark and organise skate trips to various skateparks around england. support skater owned shops and help get ulverston a skatepark! (kates skates is ruining skateboarding!)
- upper middle class heroes on theatre street, where if you're actually working class everything is too expensive to even bother
- Working Class Heroes, across from Coronation hall. ..or Kates Skates in Barrow (which is bigger and better)
- Working Class Heroes is a new shop in ulverston, said to be quite good.
- There's this newplace.. near the coronation hall!! blarg, forgot the name!.. just go Kates Skates in Barrow, that place is AWESOME.
- working class heroes on thertre street is great qulity decks and great cloths
- Polkinhorns, a great place to get your wheels...for BMXs! The only place for sakte stuff is in Barrow, and it's worth the bus ride: it's 'Kate's Skates', awesome shop, awesome staff and a spot right next door to R 'n' T, the awesome music store
- Oh yeh the park looks alomost definetly set to go ahead alright.Infact while your at it why dont you give them the reason why we didnt get the park? I wont bother cos someone has already written it above here but if that was the only reason as weve been told then why didnt you just ask for the park to be moved however far down the field it needs to be until it is allowed???????? Cos your too fucking lazy and you dont really care about the youth of ulverston but it looks good when you have us all out doing litterpicks and the rest to raise money for our invisible park.tossers. Oh and also we got screwed over with our 'last laugh' park that was meant to reward us for our efforts of fundraising, the park was about 6m x 2m and had these shitty excuses of ramps that were about 2ft wide.
Fuck Ulverston--------- Dont ever come here it is a shitty dead end town with noone in it who is prepared to do anything for the youths except moan and complain about them.
- none, but eric bibby can make you a bogey from a couple of old roller skates, the basket of a raleigh chopper and some old cowhorns
- no skating shops unfortunatley, bluetubes lancaster or reef in barrow neares places.plans for new skate ramp on Ford Park are going through the pipeline right know, will almost definetly going ahead!!thank god!!!
- No it closed down through lack of use.
