- there's nowhere to skate
- Well.. the gill's alright. Ulvertons running out of places to skate so I'd suggest skating at the train station.. until the train comes and you go to Lancaster where there are lots more skate spots.
- try the new and imporved health centre just up from the gill has a good smooth surface all round and some good spots
- The Gill is an awful place to skate but in Ulverston... it's fine (the best you're gonna get around here)! There are certain good areas to skate closer to the croftlands side of town.
- the 5 set with marble ledge by the back of the kiosk. Fountain with quater pipe over vert thingy or not either or
- there is almost nowhere in Ulverston, the stonecross gardens mansion that was used by marl closed and we built our own little ghetto park on there but that got vandalised so it got plowed, now there are some ledges at the leisure centre, a wall at the job centre that is very popular with skateboarders and some kerbs and car parks dotted about. there is a private park near ulverston in roose called the shack. website - www.bar-rro.8m.com
- the ramp closed down because the council are a useless bunch of tossers who surface ramps in indoor materiall then put them outside
now all there is left to skate/ride is the street in ulverston
- the ramp at the leisure centre is no longer there it did not close due to lack of use it was resurfaced repeatedly in indoor material and placed outdoor the reason the ramp was closed is because of the councils gullability when they were told that the ramp would solve al of there problems. now the skaters and bmxers just have to make do with the amazingly (not) good street spots.check the forum for more details.
- no the one at the leisure centre closed ages ago!! its now a cage hosting some rather attractive bark and stone... could always run around in there!.... skaters go to the park usually. though it shuts at around 10....
- There used to be a ramp at the sports centre - is it still there ? ? ?
