- only 1 cinema left (i remember 3 a s a kid) the odeon, much like other odeons!
- odeon in uxbridge centre
- The new odeon in the chimes is huge and so much better than the ones in Slough and Park Royale! Can be quite pricey though...
- Vue Cinema is really good. They show all the latest films and also you get a student discont!!!
- gret! the odeon is good
- The new odeon costs a fortune. But if you don't mind waiting you can catch some good flicks for half the price at The Beck Theatre, Hayes.
- Typical 9-screen Odeon multiplex in the Chimes. Ticket prices go up by 20p practically every month, the popcorn costs £4 for a 'kids' size portion, and the toilets smell. Bloody rip off.
- The Odeon cinema died a sorry death quite a few years ago now so I think you can stop all the abuse now!! The Odeon (god rest its soul)is now a LA Fitness fancy gym. The cinema inside the Chimes is fantastic so go there for food, films and comfy chairs!
- erm..... i'd rather go london.
- One - the odeon in the chimes - nine screens fairly new quite good!
Want to see a good film somewhere special take the tim go to leceister square see it there!
- The cinema is eighties. Enjoy the chavs saying shit.
- much better since the chimes opened, which has something like 14 screens. pop corn is very expensive though and lots of little pre-teens make their phones ring when they get bored of the movie. also, as every one seems to have better things to do (sit on grunger wall) any very new or old movies are deserted.
- chain cinema, 9 screens - odeon chain.
- Odeon 10 screen multiplex in the Chimes in the town centre.
- Odeon Cinema iz crap - too many cocky 12 year olds. Funny how remarkably youthful looking cocks can get into 15 rated movies...
- The new Odeon in the Chimes is brilliant. It has about 9 screens. Screen 1 is mega comfy. And there's a Haagendaas cafe inside yippee! Yes, worth travelling for as much cheaper than London, and there's Bargain Tuesday!
- the is a new cinema in the chimes but it aint all that and a bag of chips, the old cinema wasnt turned into a club after all as i read a coment about the rumours it is now a gym called fitness first who employ perverts to hand out leaflets they pull down girls tops and imply very crude things using girls heads and their well use ur imagination and u can think what im sayin.
- Odeon in the Chimes. Really cheap for students!
- All of the comments regarding the naff old cinema are now moot because the new multiplex has been finished. Here's a revised comment, then: (I don't intend that you include the previous sentence on the site!)
"The Chimes shopping centre has a ten-screen Odeon cinema at the opposite end to the tube station. Some of the screens seem to lack legroom, but the smaller screens benefit from more comfortable seating. Nearby towns have larger cinemas, however."
- The new Odeon in the Chimes rules! Now we don't have to go all the way to Wycombe or Slough.
- the cinema in the chimes is crap we had a decent 1 b 4 whicj has now been made a mess of but y the fuck we needed a new cinema i dont know
- great cinema in the chimes - ten screens and all the latest films.
- it aint all that and a bag of chips but it will do
- Top class Odeon at the Chimes. 10 screens. All large. Too bad they don't show any movies which are even a slight bit 'art house', ie Amelie.
- Chimes - new complex opened - reputed as very good
- The Odeon in The Chimes shopping centre is a far cry from Uxbridge's old poor-excuse-for-a-Cinema which was at the end of the high street. It always has a good selection of films, and has convenient parking. The only gripe I have is that there's not a lot of legroom in the smaller screens.
- Odeon is close to pavilions.
- New Cinema, 9 screens and about time too. Not sticky with popcorn...yet!
- Brand new cinema in The Chimes, very good
- theres a brand new odeon cinema in the new shopping centre-the chimes-which has 9 screens
- Odeon Multiplex in new shopping centre. Suffers as all Odeon cinemas do from CRAP SEATS!! Take your chiropractor with you. Alternativeley, belt up the A40 to the Warner Village in Park Royal- superior sound and *far* superior seats.
- UXBRIDGE - The Chimes has now opened and does indeed have a 10 screen cinema. As to what it is like in terms of comfort, facilities, sound quality etc. you'll have to hear it from someone else. Just wanted to let you know that it is now open!
- New 9 screen Odeon opened March 9th 2001
- Cinemas...I would ratehr cut my head off with a rusty bread knife than see a film in the manky Odeon
- There is a dump little Odeon opp. the rozzer shop but a multiplex is being built in the new Chimes centre.
- Odeon... save your money and go to a complex.
- Although our odeon cinema is crap at the moment , there is curently a 10 screen cinema being built in Uxbridge town centre and will also have a bigger shopping centre in the complex aswell, so thats something for us residents to look forward to!!
- odeon - 2 screens. shit long term health problems caused by shit seats and tiny screens
- We have an odeon with oh let me count..um two screens. Nearest decent cinemas are harrow, High Wycombe, Slough (hmmm) , Acton and Ealing.
- Superb modern multi screen cinema in Town Centre. Ten Pin bowling at Airport Bowl - 222 Bus Uxbridge to Hounslow, open late.
