- hmv ...tis bout it, and theres a second hand one which has desent prices, which is always great:D
- hmv is a good shop
- CD warehouse - my haven all latest cd's epecially alternative ones at decent prices plus you can sell your old ones you don't want any more back and buy new ones
Bought the something corporate album i love for 8.99 even though in HMV they would try and charge you 16.99
- HMV in the chimes is good for all kinds of music and CD warehouse is good
- For da best selection of tunes da place to go to is HMV if u can't get dat hot yune dat u've been lookin for, just ask 'em about it n they should order it for ya.
- D'Vinyls are good for house records and tickets to club nights.
- CD Warehouse
- D'Vinyl
- Revolution records. Good for drum and base and dodgy white label compelation EP's of old garage/house classics. Upfront thud thud garage by the 'whats the name crew'
- Woolies is the best shop im the world! But for the music specialists, er there CD Warehouse, HMV and MVC, and there's WHSmiths.
- errrm theres mvc in the pavillions thats an ok shop or in the chimes there is hmv thats cool
- there aint no decent ones except hmv in the chimes
- D'Vinyl has closed and gone to Harrow
Our Price has closed and gone back to Cheeseville
REVOLUTION RECORDS has just been refurbished, they have a serious collection of new and used floorfillers both current and classics as well as a small but growing selection of DJ gear like record boxes, slipmats etc.
The Revolution Records crew know their business inside out, are always happy to spin you a fistful of tunes and make recommendations so you only take home top-draw. Also available instore at RevRecs are 3 vinyl listening posts so you can amuse yourself with their collection of pre-owned vinyl.
This update supplied to Knowhere by a Revolution Records customer (not a shareholder!) Recommended !
- big HMV in the Chimes, or MVC in the pavillions, if u want alot of choice. woolworths is s**t - no selection
- hmv in the chimes
- HMV - a reasonable METAL section with listening posts too. Just push the 12yr olds with Linkin Park T-shirts out of the way and force them to listen to TRU metal NOT nu metal.
- MVC in the Pavilions isn't bad, although even with their membership they're still over-charge every now and then. An HMV in the Chimes is the best one in the area. It's expanding at the moment so should be even better.
- The modestly-sized branch of HMV in The Chimes shopping centre is great for various types of music, including Indie, Metal and Reggae.
- There is d'vinyl records on vine street which is a phat record shop where you can get all of the good music from like garage and just down the road from there in the arcade which is called revolution records which is another phat record shop with loads of good tunes in too. also if you are a dj, there is hmv which has a few good tunes in now and again which has just recently opened in the chimes.
- What about that Dance record shop by Royales?
- Our price offers the usual crap selection with typical london prices, go to Wigan instead.
- D'Vinyl by Royales Nightclub.
- Now open in the Pavillions shopping "mall" a branch of MVC. Good selection and keen prices.
Enrol in their membership scheme for a discount.
- Progressive Club
- Think there is a store called Divinyl down near Royals.
- Our Price (good range), WH Smiths, Woolworths (slightly cheaper than the other two)
