- Ignore all the info here as 'Mersey music' closed a few years ago,not to mention a lot of the other things mentioned. As at June 2011,there's only one Music shop in Liscard,ie' Wirral Music'in Mill Lane .It's well run by a young guy named Sean who is very helpful and friendly.The Music project shop is still there but might as well be called a 'scrap storage space',as there's nobody there to even open the 'shop' up!'SS Radio' is 'plodding on' though it seems to be clogged up with old gear more than ever these days!
(always interesting to browse tho').
- Mersey Music for bog standard stuff, The Music Project in Mill Lane has a small but extremely odd and interesting assortment of secondhand, guitars, amps and suchlike. The BEST local shop I've found is Micro Music, Smithdown Rd Liverpool.
