  • Black Horse Wallasey has some good acts. For players, there's a lively "open mic" scene in Wallasey/New Brighton such as Mondays at the Queens, Rake Lane. Partial local music listings are at buz.co.uk.
  • still gotta be the FLORAL Pavillion...great for the older rockers!
  • try the black horse in the village but remember to wipe your feet on the way out!!!!!!
  • We ALL have a SuPeRb NiGhT In the Albian (New brighton)(Wallasey) first friday in every month, so far. This is a charity doo, where we put on three bands which so far have proven superb. Our third charity night is probably going to be the first Friday of December and the best so far, third time lucky and all that, so there's no excuses bring your end of the month wages and get down with us , and right back up again THE NBR CREW
  • The Black Horse is a top place for live music - check out their site - www.blackhorse-wallasey.co.uk. Always someone on in the week and at a weekend.
  • The Vic in new Brighton does a music night on a Wednesday, always good. The Wellington in Liscard has a metal night on a Thursday, a particularly good event if you're a Metallica fan because so's the DJ. Iron Door in nearby Birkenhead is good for live music nights. The best places are over the water in Liverpool like the Krazyhouse (pure Metal/Goth/Punk/Skater/Mosh paradise!) the retro clubs like Boogie nights are a laugh too!
  • There are rare ones At the Floral Pavillion
  • Many of the local pubs have live music.
  • the royal court basement bar
  • The Hotel Victoria is the initial one....... a lot of bands play gigs here on a Wednesday nite...... its got a good atomsphere to it...
