Trying to find an Old Friend who used to go to The Tower Ballroom New Brighton in the early 60s. I can only remember her name as DOT. She lived in Wallasey . She would remember me very well from those days. Anybody out there who has any information please let me know. Thank you !!!!!

My Name is Aubrey and I used to go to The Tower Ballroom in the early 60s I knew a lady then by the name of Dot never knew her surname shelived in Wallasey. She went to The Tower that is wereI new her from. Anybody out there who went to the Tower those days might just remember this lady.

Anyone with information on George Glover or descendants of his? I don't have too many details, he is most likely from Wallasey, born mid 1940's. Possibly fathered a child with a girl from Birkenhead, or possibly she just worked in Birkenhead at the market in the late '60s. Any info greatly appreciated. Sensitive matter. Thanks

am looking to find out about Wallasey schoolboys football before the war. My father claimed that he had played in front of 7,000 spectators for Wallasey u14s against Liverpool schoolboys around about 1934. Wallasey, who had some players later to become post-war professionals, beat Liverpool 4-0, I believe. Paul |
