- the dolphin good grub
- (In pub crawl order from the bridge) Boathouse, Townarms, The George Hotel Bar, The Dolphin, Cross Keys, Coach and Horses, Green Tree, Coachmakers Arms, Royal.
- Boathouse-nice outdoor seating, full of kids on friday and saturday nights though.
The George-nice outdoor area for the summer, plus stunning barmaids!
The Royal-incredibly pretentious. Nice cocktails.
The Green Tree-down to earth and friendly atmosphere as is the coachmakers
- The George is quality high class establishment which deserves special attention in the summer when the outdoor seating is available. The boat-house too is good during the summer but caters for a younger crowd. The Town Arms has a pool table. The Green tree is the Lick, no arguments. The Kings Head is s##t.
- The Green Tree is now in the very capable hands of Darren, just as lovely as Robbie.
A warm welcome also always awaits you in the Cross Keys run by Bob and Ronnie. They hold regular live sessions and Ronnie does a wonderful SUnday roast.
- The town arms is dodgy, the others are alright.
- The Green Tree - it is the only pub i know in the WHOLE world that everyone gets on with everyone. Anyone with a bad attitude will gett flushed out quickly as ROBBY (an absoult star and Manager of the 'Tree' would talk them into the ground) + you would never mess with this bloke as he's 6 foot something and built like a brick s**t-house. But nice as pie! i wouldn't ever want to give the tree a bad name as i LOVE IT and so dose everyone else that goes.... who-ever you get to talk to will be your friend for life.
If your ever passing through Wallingford please pop in you'll get a warm reception.
