- There is a cinema, but only on Fridays, there is a bowling alley on the pier and Kylie Minogue, whose boyfriend comes from Frinton is frequently spotted there.
- Well, yep, we've got bowling. On the pier. In holiday season the pier is well worth a visit, lots of rides for little kids and big ones too. Twister, waltzer, ghost train, a lovely old fashioned merry go round, a big amusements with bingo and all sorts, fireworks every Bank Holiday, excellent fishing, nice green open spaces on the Naze, miles of sandy beaches, and I'd recommend it to anyone as a place to live, especially for people with young kids, and the elderly. It's very safe and laid back, a lovely vibe here - wouldn't move back to Romford for anything!!

- No cinema.... BUT The pier is better than Clacton. More and better rides and a workforce who have little interest in their personal safety (plenty of enjoyable industrial accidents involving heavy machinery and loss of blood)
- "Marshall Lockjaw" is the only cinema in town. It shows films from the golden age of Hollywood (1901-1910). Such films shown so far have been - "Train at Station", "The Great Shotgun" and "The Annual Butter Meeting in Ipswich"
