Further, more disturbing is that James has claimed to be a lifeboat crew member and attends shouts when the maroons sound which has caused great concern as his speed and driving ability is careless and dangerous. On one occasion he nearly mowed down a young girl who came running out of the Martello Caravan Park Shop where it is reported James was driving at around 30 mph breaking the 5 mph speed limit. Also other reports state that he has deformed the characters of the lifeboat crew by stating that they are amateurs and have no sense in carrying out a rescue and according to James 'are a liability'.
These are just some of the lies that flow out of this mans mouth when pressed as to why he did not board the lifeboat by onlookers.

The RNLI are now investigating James after several reports of him trying to obtain monies by deception, the investigation is ongoing.

James seems to be a very disturbed individual and should not be approached. Only last August during air show in Clacton he was approached for un-authorised parking in the RNLI Clacton station and it has also been revealed he is/has been under investigation for claiming to be on the Clacton lifeboat.
Please do not give your money to this man, please give generously to recognised RNLI collection tins and to those collecting with official RNLI identification displayed.

It goes without saying that this man has broken the trust of many of the RNLI supporters in Walton and he must be stopped.
