- tit
- we have an art and craft centre called the triangle, where they have plays on and i'm sure dave spikey from pheonix nights did stand up there not long ago.
- pyramid arts centre
- Pyramid Centre, Warrington.
- EDWARD ALLENS IN TOWN HAS A LOT OF CRAFT STUFF. HOBBYCRAFT IS BRILLIANT
- Edwin Allen's is Warringtons best kept secret!!!! Whatever you want, they will either have it or can get it you. Didn't agree with the earlier comment about the prices though. Always found them to be reasonable. If you visit Warrington and leave without a visit to Edwin Allen's you must be a muppet !!!!!!!
- Warrington Museum
- Edwin Allen - Dorky but nice paints.
- Find the comments from the Stockton Heath resident pretty funny. I've lived away from Warrington for 4 years and unfortunately had to come back for a while. Whilst it has a high number of scallies and not much goin on, Stockton heath isn't much better. More expensive houses and a nicer area=true, but its full of as many idiots, mostly trying to look suave in their white collar and cuff shirts, 'trying to hard' same as the next guy mullet/mohekan haircuts, and fake tans.
Warrington is good because of its proximity to Liverpool and Manchester, that about it.
- edwin allens is the best but its a bit on the expensive side!robbing ba****ds if i do say myself.
- The museum often has local artists work which can be cool. All of the sci-fi fantasy stuff there over recent years has been wocked too.
- Salsa is brill! They have wkd belly-bars!
- Salsa has some. And the Triangle Centre an be good on exhibition days. I've walked through the streets holding a model on one of their culture days...
- There is a little shop on horsemarket street that sells arty things.
Oh and the pyramid centre is good too.
- The Pyramid centre in the centre of town
- The Pyramid centre has now opened. Not my cup of tea, but I'm sure it's good if you like that sort of thing.
- Pyramid in town centre
- oxfam is quite good
- salsa-centre of town sells abit of everything-gadgets, sex toys, body jewellery(+does piercing)moscha jewellery+clothes, hippie stuff something 4 everyone i guess
- Warrington Musueum ,entry is free and so it should be the exhibits on show havn't changed for three hundred years!
- Warrington Museum
- What is the point of putting any sort of culture to the town, all people want
there is to eat cheese and onion pasties from greggs. Stockton Heath has more
culture than the not so cosmopolitan people of Warrington. I think the word is
Class?
- The museum has improved a lot and is worth visiting
- There's a museum - plus details on local artists and events at
http://www.wirearts.co.uk/
- womens wi - they make some cracking knitted sweaters
- Several local Artist who produce paintings etc, but no shops.
- SALSA ON BRIDGE STREET (ALSO HAVE A STALL ON THE MARKET & A STORE IN CHESTER) VERY NICE LARVA LAMPS, PICTURES & THEY'LL PIERCE YOU JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE!!
- The gallery above Salsa is interesting if you are into modern art. SALSA'S a pretty cool shop anyway, with body piecing and henna tatoos and fourtune telling.
- Warrington Amateur Radio Club meets every tuesday at 8.00pm at Grappenhall comunity center every one who is intrested in Amateur Radio wellcome
