  • topolis in mersey street is the king of fast food
  • Cafe Artisan in the Birchwood Centre is great, as is Subway (same centre). Warrington has many fine takeaways - Kebab And Pizza, Sizzle Inn, Pinnochios being the top three. Papa John's and Godfather are a bit pish though, unless you like incredibly long delivery times (quite often they forget to deliver at all!) and uncooked toppings on your pizza. There are Burger Kings and McDonalds in town and in the Birchwood Centre. Padgate Rose is a great little Chinese restaurant on Station Road - very friendly service.
  • jenerics on marshhouse lane has the best chinky in warrington
  • all shite excpet for the indian opposite the town hall

  • don luigis, the raj-culcheth.baci-lymm.le frog-centre of town.
  • DANNYS KITCHEN, LES FISHBAR AND THE BUTY SHOP ON WILDERSPOOL CAUSEWAY
  • For the best barm cakes in town go to Waterfields in King Edward Street, Padgate where the staff are very helpful and pleasant. The cheese and onion pasties are gorgeous too. Try The "Captain's Tables" in Marsh House Lane for chips & gravy. Hong Kong Chop Suey House a few doors down for out of this world chinese takeaways.
  • Family pubs and Pizza Hut. Shite, shite, shite.
  • The Sahibe in Lymm, v. v. v. nice chicken Korma!
  • Mike and Marthas after a hard nights underage drinking
  • Warbies meat and potatoe pies from the bakery on orford lane, gorgeous with red sauce. Willis Street pie shop in Orford. The Orford Fryery chippy on Howson Road make the best fish and chips and Harrys in the town centre makes a good nosh.
  • There is not a decent restaurant in the 20 square miles that is warrington.
  • KUCCHINI'S!!!!!!!!!! i have spent many a pissed up night in here at about 3am after nearly drinking myself into a coma in Smiths. Cheesy garlic bread to die for and makes you stink for days afterwards. Great memories of fights, my mate selling her dress for £75 to some bloke.........
  • Avoid the Memphis Belle if you value the opinions of your stomach!!!!
  • Witherspoons
  • Sankey Bridges chippy is the best - Golden City!!! Massive portions, always yummy, and reasonably priced...oh yes, it's always on my agenda for a Sunday evening takeaway!

  • The Golden Arches seems to provide the 17 year old Fiesta (Dump valve equipped, "turbo" charged, 16 inch alloy wheel clad, Duracell powered, 1.4 litres of PURE power) XR2 driver with something to do. You go McDonalds. Try KFC. OR, Spuddy Marvellous does a stunner of a backed spud. Near Memphis Belle in Westbrook
  • Anyone know what on earth is supposed to be happening with Time Out at Westbrook. It's in darkness and has had danger signs up for weeks. It's a bit poor when you can't have a beer or two before seeing a film!
  • Walkers Crisps
  • Has to be Central Keebab house for a cheeseburger ... the guy that owned it didnt half look like Peter Cushion from the Dracula films

  • Les's fish bar at the bottom of Bridge street is a must for rumbling tums!
  • All the good places (Co-op, market cafe, Country Larder and others) have recently been taken over by cretins and now serve plastic food at high prices.
  • On the other hand, here are some additions:
    Indian restauarants:-
    Javed Tandoori, Sankey St
    Indian takeaway:-
    Ajooba, Lovely Lane
    Thai restaurant :-
    Lemon Grass, Knutsford Rd
  • Chinese - The Trawlerman, Liverpool Rd, Sankey Bridges - Massive Portions, Excellent food and cheap.
  • For a snack - cheese and onion pasties from Greggs in the Golden Square are gorgeous.
  • I live just round the corner from the Trawlerman but will never eat there as I have had some bad experiences from the food. A much better Chinky is the Jasmin House, bottom end of Butter Market Street, eat in or take away, it's great.
  • 'The Dragon City' on the Knutsford Road, has to be the best Chinese takeaway in the town. Service can be a bit slow when they are bust, but their Chicken with Ginger & Spring Onion is to die for!
  • There is a new Chinese takeaway on Warrington Rd, Penketh. It's on the corner of Grange drive, called Wing Fat (!) Does an excellent chinese take away though, and the chips are good too.
  • Loved your Asda's!
