• The Lounge has a very cool space down stairs, nice sweat box for a small club night.

• Breeze Bar is buzzin opens till 3am. A great place to start the night, cheap drinks, shots of sumbuca are £1, jugs of vodka with any mixer are £6, pints are £2.50. Can easily spend a few hours in here gettin wasted before heading to 53 or PJ's.
• FRIARS COURT, pound a drink on tuesday, full on a weekend! top music and not full of tit heads trying to kick off allllll the time. no burberry or rockports in here!!! just people who get mashed and hav a good time!
• I think we should move smiths to belgium and nuke the place, two birds with one nuke, Wahey.
• the best place to go in warrington without bumping into any chavs or hooligans is Casi, which from the outside looks like a belgium brothel but inside on a saturday plays the best indie music and really good looking indie chicks.

• i read the comments about this for warrington. i have worked in Mr Smiths for 9 years. The actual club is great but since John Smitht thowner died the place is going down hill. No investment, the dj's are ridiculously bad and despite being told about this the management seem to want to let it drag out. The new liscencing laws have made averywhere a little quieter because ppl want to go everywhere and now have the freedom to do so at their leisurely pace. Smiths will never be bought by ministry etc. the only way it will close is if business is soo bad they have to. I will give it a year before it closes. btw John mapstone is an idiot

• Casi Club on Mersey Street has the best indie/rock nights in Warrington. Downstairs on a Friday for Heaven and Hell night and upstairs on a Saturday for Culture Clash night.
• DAVIDOKE karaoke and disco "The Davidoke Show" has awesome visuals graphics music and KARAOKE!!!! you need to try this place out Davidoke at China Red in Stockton Heath.
• SMITHS - Even though i say i hate it i still end up there at the end of the night. Macaulays is always gud, just full of desperate middle aged men. FX has sum gud looking lads there of a sunday

• 53 DEGREES ~ Top spot for RnB & HipHop music shame its so small though, also Mr Smiths on the 1st Wednesday of every month we have the SOUL TRAIN, great music people come from all over for this once a month night, be warned it gets pretty busy!

• Mr Smiths has really turned itself around in the last year. It's been completely refurbed, and the weekend Dj's are brilliant. The music is pure dance and RnB, not the old rubbish like Steps and The Cheeky Girls of days gone by. It's a really smart looking venue now- it's massive and has a two floor cocktail bar that looks out onto the main dance floor. Excellent night out.

• i just want to say that warrington pubs n clubs are the best. the main place to go if you like rnb hip hop or garage is 53!its the best place ever and the service is great. if you like dance then it wud have to be fx or big bar. if your partial to both then mr smiths,breeze,eddisons or tiger too. 70's night everynight at flares!cummon! check out mr smiths website too see wot the upcoming events are.kelly lorenna was there lastweek!amazing!and you never no you might even bump into such people like tyrone from corrie.risse from liverpool sean wright phillips or even our very own queen of the jungle kerry (katona)mc fadden.its worth a visiting.

• Flares, the best night out in Warrington, Brilliant mucic and friendlt staff make up for the rest of Warringtons Mindless trawling punters. 53 Degrees north, the best R+B spot in the northwest, Top music with a great atmosphere, Gets very packed on Fridays and Saturdays and its way to dark. Wetherspoons, the Cheapest drinks in town and the place that everyone goes before entering bridge street. Smiths, lets just say that its the biggest pile of shit ive ever been in my life, its full of mindless idiots just looking for a fight and that massive blow up dancing thing shut be targeted by america for crimes against humanity, i swear it defies the geneva convention, Really it is the gayest place on earth, it couldent be any gayer if they called it Gay gayersons Gay spot for gays. Track suit wearing shits. Casi's, The best and really only rock club in warrington, Great atmosphere and everyone knows each other, gets a bad rep because of the scallies that cant understand good music, the best place in town!, just make sure your dressed appropriatly, Black cloths are good. The Barley mow, a great hangout for students or old pervs wanting to watch students as they drink, its a great starting off point for the rest of town,. Edisons, The biggest pile of Shit in the northwest, they got raided a bit back and found that most of the people in there were about 5, some were 10, it really is poor, a poor layout with about 5 levels and a tiny dance floor that looks like it was built to cover an abandoned mind shaft, its about 100 feet under sea level. I hate it with a passion.

• The Carlton Club was the most excellent thing to ever grace this earth, only we only see it now its gone, alright it smelled, yes, it was a dump, but it was OUR dump. The closest we have now is Casi (used to be churchills)which is like a nursery crossed with a brothel and a crack den - actually, thats a frighteningly good description.

• Legends was the only decent club in Warringon pre 1993, Just found out its actually reopened...wonder what its like now? Churchills was also good for a laugh, Mr Smiths, one of those places u always slagged of yet u used to always end up in because nowhere else was open.....remember the hardcore night they used to do on a Monday 1990/91...just as Legends was kicking up...those were the days.
• Mr Smiths, Tigertoo, Edisons and the Breeze Bar are all quality clubs in warrington. It's better than the shitty Old Town in Runcorn.

Smiths is good for a fight and you can usually pull if you don't mind what you go home with!??! If you want to go to a proper club though, get on a train and go to Liverpool!

• Legends was the only club to have ever put Warrington on the map in a positive way, it did more for tourism surely than Pete Waterman and the Hit Man and Her did. Nutters from all over the north came to join in the antics and lead the convoys afterwards to the hollowed Blackburn raves.

• The 'new' Showboat - The Time and Place is absolutely CRAP!! I was a regular, have a lot of money but they ain't getting a penny of it now until they sack that pathetic excuse for a DJ - Pussy Glaore who doesn't shut the fuck up through any of the songs - mind you he/she plays Rick Astley & Spandau Ballet - SAD!!! BRING BACK MARK THE DJ!!! HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING!!!
• You carnt go wrong with Mr Smiths however, if that not cheesy enough u can always get a taxi to top of the town in neighbouring widnes
• Evergreens - then changed to Clubhouse - now Branski's. No lapdancing went on in those days
• Go to Mr Smiths. It's great. Get Drunk. Have a fight. Get bottled.
• Legends was the only nightclub worthy of going. It had the decent music, live gigs and best of all no Townies, what bliss and sad to see the place close several years ago!!!

• Warrington's clubs don't really do it. Smiths is ok if you are into that type of thing. The rest don't really stand out. NOW, for a great atmosphere and some of the best music around, try The Plaza in St Helens. No, seriously, no trouble, cheap, fun, how a night should be for students. Don't dismiss the St Helens as a night out for Warringtonians looking to avoid getting bottled. Enjoy!

• Mr Smiths-dont even knock it! Everyone calls it but we all end up there pissed on a saturday night bopping with Stan the man!!! The music and the atmosphere is great and the cocktails are even better (if you've got the cash). I must admit though that it is 100% better when you've drank a bottle of vodka first.

• To go in Mr Smiths you have to be extremely intoxicated and to go in the World you have to be ready to have a fight, as for the rest of them, there not even worth mentioning, there that bad.

• Legends used to be the place to be in the late eighties early nineties. the sad state of the clubs is only to obvious when you see the sort of people that go to them. Utter scumbags.
• Smiths is good for young girls with hardly any clothes on secrets is good for old divorced women with hardly any clothes on. Cassi the world and the showboat are full of scum you have been warned.
• Casi Nightclub, Mersey Street. Mostly Rock/Metal - with live bands on the first Wednesday of everymonth. Some decent stuff.

• Catholic Club/St Michaels Club/Community Centre usually something on St mikes is ok if your 99 and into old tyme dancing and gurning. Catholic club and comm centre usually have some half decent act on a weekend but generally nothing for people under 65 or into rock etc.

• Must mention the new(ish) club, The World, (near Sainsburys). Good indie on Fridays nights, and the excellent excellent AstroFarm on Saturday nights with resident DJs Kelvin Andrews and Moonboots and countless big name guest DJs every week. Beer's not too bad or expensive and the bouncers are OK. The decor looks a bit like the "Starlight 2001" club in Saturday Night Fever, and £10/8 for Astrofarm with a 2.a.m finish is somewhat excessive, but still the best thing in Warrington since Legends.
• Just writing to let anyone who used to go to the under 18's World, that has finished, that there is now a new club doing a similar kind of thang called Whispers. It's on a Thursday at 7pm behind Wilderspool, the rugby ground.
