  • all of warringtons buildings with any kind of character have now been demolished, there was an old potato factory called gartons, it was a very old building with gartons in big white letters painted on the roof which you could see from my old school, gartons spelt backwards is snotrag which no matter how many times i looked at it never ceased to bring a smile to my face.

  • St. elfins church,has second highest spire in england.
  • Lord Daresbury Hotel, 'cos when you get there your leaving Warrington. Yay!!!

  • Borough Treasures. It's worth having a close look at the details of it and some of its stone work.

  • HM Prison Risley. An example of what can be done with concrete and a group of work experience builders. There's loads of good looking buildings in Warrington. Somewhere. So I'm told.

  • The job centre, It is lovely to drive past it and see all those lowlives in one building, and not out stealing cars,
  • Cromwell House & The Black Horse - The 'EYE' on crossfields roundabout is a remarkable landmark... plus the bloke in the scrapyard who puts his christmas tree up on the crane on Lovely Lane..... excellent....
  • This is Warrington, not Prague.
  • macs taxis -- just been controversially painted pink with a giant eve on it, and its mingin'
  • St Michaels Church/Bradley old hall The Burtonwood Millennium dome (this is an upturned wok on the clay lane recreation ground kindly donated by Lees chippy)
  • TOWN HALL & EVERY PUB
  • Wilderspool Stadium... if Old Trafford is the 'theatre of dreams', this is the 'Punch-and-Judy-stand-on-Southport Beach of dreams', but I love it. Up the Wire
  • The ceiling in the rear lounge of the Lion has a beautiful plasterwork relief in fruit. It's 10 feet plus in diameter.
