  • It's best to buy online. Or venuture to sound control at the end of the M62 (just before Manchester) for a mind blowing selection of instruments. Only worth going into Warrington if you are a beginner.
  • I will never shop at Dawsons again to say the least the staff there could not find there hole in there arse with a map and compass! stick to AARDVARK MUSIC they are the best and most helpfull around.
  • there is a tiny musical instrument shop called ardvarks, wich specialises in harmonicers or something like that!
  • No shops are that good in warrington if you are a serious player (not for drums anyway), but if you just need some new sticks/plectrums etc then you can visit Back alley music (by train station) Aardvark music or Dawsons (probably the best one)
  • Back Alley Music near warrington central , under the arches by the big bicycle shop. Great service.
  • AARDVARK MUSIC on Bridge street. Has the best range of instruments. They sell everything from cheap guitar packs to the best names in the business. The music school that was opened there has had great reviews from people who go there. I would recomend this place to anywhere else in the North west. Dawsons is always a wasted journey trust me!!
  • Aardvark only sell cheap chinese rubbish instruments, not good branded and reliable stuff. Dawsons is the only place, and the staff are brill
  • dawsons is not as good as it could be cos they ,like everybody else, pay crap wages which only attracts low quality untrained individuals who r waiting 4 friday to arrive again
  • Aardvark Music is the best music shop in the North West. They know their stuff and are really friendly whether you are buying or just want info from them. There is a music school at Aardvark now too. Dawsons is a waste of time and Back Alley are not interested in you unless you wave money in their face!
  • Dawson's on Sankey Street.
  • DAWSONS IS GOOD
  • Dawson's leave it well alone...I find that EVERY Dawson's in the country has an obligatory junior member of staff with a pony tail who sits doung "wiggly wiggly" things on a les paul copy and a bank of effects pedals...I went here for a set of drum skins and they only had one dusty old pepacked set in the WHOLE store despite selling professional kits in the shop... untill they stop recruiting staff from Burger King..My advice is..Give it a miss!
  • Backally Music, the best place for guitars in warrington. Right near central station.
  • dawsons in town on harpers road. aardvark at the bottom of bridge street-top shop
  • Ardvark Music in the centre and Back Ally are good shops, Dawsons can be a bit pricey but have more musical knowledge if u get what i mean
  • Did the rounds before Christmas and went for Aadvark. Don't know what it is about Dawsons, could be a great shop but the staff don't seem too clued in about customer service. Back Alley is ok if a bit pushy.
  • Dawsons
  • Dawsons is pretty good but only if you're prepared to sell a kidney on ebay to buy something and there's a shop on Bridge Street on the corner.
  • Ther's a shop in Tuff Gong Studioplex on Longford Street that sells good quality new and used gear
  • Dawsons and theres one down Bridge Street
  • Dawsons is not crap anymore, its definatly the best place to go for guitars and the staff the have there now are not stuck and definatly know their stuff
  • Back alley music, Aardvark music..i think Dawson's is shite
  • Back Alley! love that place.
  • Access All Areas Music is great for secondhand stuff, and they do have some new stock as well as being able to order stuff, plus for once someone does good quality drum stuff not like most shopsit,s worth a look in they are at Tuff Gong Studioplex, near the drive thru McDonalds
  • A new place has just opeend Back Alley Music near the train station ( central)
  • Aardvark music is the place that I go to because it is the cheapest and also has the best range of instruments around. Dawsons is not worth a mention really. There is a shop in Leigh but I doubt it will be there long as its not good at all, is very expensive and does not have a good range of musical instruments. I say Aardvark Music on bridge street is the place to go.
  • Dawsons is OK, as is Aardvark, but there's a tiny, family run shop in Leigh which blows them all out of the water.
  • ardvarks,dawsons
  • Dawson's, Aardvark's (down bridge street by Salsa), that's where I go.
  • AARDVARK MUSIC on bridge street is the BEST music shop in the north west! I hear that they have made the shop bigger to sell even more great guitars, keyboards and whatever else you can think of! The staff are really nice too. There is a Dawsons but they are over priced and the staff couldn't care less.
  • ummm Dawsons, thats about it
  • Aardvark Music is the best shop in Warrington. It has everything that you will ever need for music. It sells great guitars and has an world music department with weird and wonderful instruments from around the world. The owner is a nice guy and will try his best to help you. In my opinion its the best music shop I have been to.!!! I would never go to Dawsons as I have heard so many bad reports on it.
  • Dawsons Aardvark music
  • Dawsons on Sankey St. A lot of places sell those kazoo's as well, I believe.
  • Dawsons near the Bus Station
  • aardvark music in bridge street, will order for you if theyve not got. also they know their stuff
  • Aardvark music - what can i say? Errrrm, they're slightly better than dawsons
  • dawsons
  • ardvark- crappy moshers r always outside this place.
  • Dawson's Music has to be THE best shop for Musical Instruments in Warrington!!! Have you seen the guitars they have in there!
  • God!! Is'nt Dawsons shit!!!
  • ardvark
  • Dawsons..Pricey Over-rated and Stuck Up.
  • Ardvark music is a new guitar shop which opened up last year thats the best one in town.
  • I suppose the best shop for instruments is Dawsons, it's pretty BIG!
  • dawsons - not a very good selection of guitars but i love it anyway
  • Ardvark's have eager to please owners but are a bit pricey being indpendant and enw, then ther'es Dawson's- but they're just insulting pricks
  • Dawsons is the place (they also have shops in Chester & Stockport).
