  • Darkline are pretty good. They've been taken over by new people, and the place is nicer now and feels more pro. Good gear, good environment, got some nice guitar amps etc. Pool room was a bit cold the whole time we were there, but it was the middle of winter!

  • tuff gong in orford is the only recording studios that ive been to, basic 8 x 8 ft rooms.
  • Tuff Gong Studioplex on Longford street. Superb facilities such as; 2 recording studios, rehersal rooms, music school, musical instrument shop, dance studio and cafe. REALLY COOL PLACE!
  • Ive heard of FROG recording, by bank quay station I think...
  • Darkline Audio on the Howley Lane industrial estate is a brand new professional recording studio in Warrington. Its got three seperate recording rooms (live room, drum booth and vocal booth), green room with pool table and state of the art control room. Look it up on the web for more info!!
  • Frog is GREAT for a phatt sound. Its next to Warrington Sound and Light at Bank Quay Trading Estate. Uses analogue gear for a warm/beefy sound. Dickie the engineer is a top bloke
  • Webb Electronics has gone now. The guy that ran it has now set up on his own as Warrington Sound & Light. He still hires PA and does amp repairs and stuff. I found him near Speedkarting at Bank Quay.

  • Attic Studios on Longford Street are by far the best in Warrington and do nearly all the sound engineering for gigs at Parr Hall, Space 5 and Casi.

  • Webb Electronics have moved to Lovely Lane next to the Co-op. Currently hiring out PA and lights for DJ's mainly but getting into Band gear as well.
  • If your serious it can only be Tuff Gong, you've tried the rest, now get serious and try the best
  • Tuff gong do lessons now. the teachers are cool and you wanna see em play, its pretty cheap too

  • Tuff Gong Studioplex, they're great they have 2 recording studios, loads of rehearsal rooms, including a massive new dance studio and a coffee shop where you can chill out.
