- the white hart pub near the town centre has an upstairs room called the white room where they have live music every weekend, some quite good local bands.
- The Kings Head - opposite Central Station - really good Friday night bands and there's usually a band playing in the back room on a Tuesday night - costs nothing to get in
- WA1, Casi, highwayman, white heart...
- On The Edge at The Kings Head, Winwick Street, Warrington Friday 20th Jan 9.30.
- legends...ha ha
- WA1, White heart, chicargo Rock
- Parr Hall - If the band's going to another venue choose the other venue though, as this place is too small for really big concerts and has absolutely rubbish sound and lighting systems.
Pyramid centre also sometimes has bands on, looks a lot more nicer than the Parr Hall.
- Casi Club on Mersey Street has the best North West unsigned bands on Fridays and Saturdays.
Space 5 and Parr Hall for signed Bands with gigs on every week. More info on www.hq-warrington.com
- bands sometimes in the bluebell, not much like that in the town center
- White Hart, barley Mall,
- WA1, decent sound, decent crowd, go for it!

- parr hall have sponsered charity trusts forsmall bands in high school or college. Theres wa1 a clun near the now closed down swimming baths
- The Pyramid and Parr Hall need to do an awful lot more to promote their gigs.

- WA1 (ex Funky Monkey), pretty shite though and no better than it was last time.Anyone can see it's a non - starter !

- white hart pub has lots of high quality up and coming bands
- Errrr, the parr hall? Could be good but theres never anyone good playing there. "Whats on tonight?" "I dunno, lets go and see whats on at the Parr Hall?" "OOOhhhhh! The Almighty!" Nuff said.
- parr hall-thats about it
- Parr Hall, an excellent venue for any quality brass band ,from Yorkshire.
- Parr Hall
- The only "kind of" music venue Warrington has is the Parr Hall, this was built by Mr Parr over 100 years ago and is a small concert hall. It is sometimes used as a theatre as Warrington no longer has a theatre since the closure of Crossfields in 1992. Even though it's small it has played host to some big names recently including Wheatus, Hatty Hayridge (Red Dwarf - Holly), Jasper Carrott, and Paul McKenna
- What about Brannigans- newly opened and looking good. Over 21 and lining up some cheesey bands. Good quality though!
- What music venues? The Parr Hall? Pardon?
- vicky park radio head played there
- check out the resident dj at worlds! he used to keep fish and listen to culture club
- The kings head has good jam nights on tuesdays
- The parr hall has good bands on from time to time, the damned and james have both played there in the past.
- Casi, Mersey Street. First Wednesday of every month.
- the parr hall - the fun lovin' criminals played there once, nuff said!
- As above but there is also the bridge inn (SAT) and the chapel house (FRI)
- In addition to The Lion & Lord Rodney, the other place for rock music is the King's Head (facing Central Station). There's a jam night there every Tuesday night (PA & drums provided) & they have live bands on most Fridays or Saturdays.
- Only one gets remotely famous bands - the Parr Hall in Palmyra Square (Tel 01925 634958/651178). The Lion, a pub on Bridge Street gets some good live rock bands on Friday Nights.
- The Lord Rodney (mentioned in pubs section) also has live music, every Friday and Saturday, varying from blues to folk. Although there are no "big" names on, most of the blues bands are very good quality, and the ale's very good, too!
