- 20 minutes on a train into London
- 20 minutes on the train from Watford Junction to Euston
- its close to London and has tube links. also the schools are some of the best in the country. outside of town is some really nice green belt land with lovely small villages with excellent local pubs, great for the summer.

- Good Transport (makes getting out easier)
- Laughing at Watford slappers with Eastenders accents
- Costco. except on a saturday when all the munters from the rest of herts come in and jam the firggin' car park.
- Church Road - so many interesting buildings; walks along the canal and in Cassiobury Park; best transport links in the country including 5 airports within one hour drive/train ride; Nascot Wood - neat area to live in; easy access to excellent choice of higher and further education; Business Link and Wenta - Herts has best small business support in the country; pubs, clubs, bars, cafes and any number of other cappuccino and alcohol providing establishments; passable soccer team; balanced racial mix - more like a city than some yawn-worthy essex town; excellent shopping - I never need go more than a mile or two; plenty of local classes in whatever takes your fancy - no more figuring the bus schedule to get to the other side of Sydney for me! the rainbow festival; weekly fireworks in my area - there must be something to celebrate!; and as an ex-south bucks gal, a noticeable friendliness in the people compared to other southern towns. Basically people, it's all going on locally - Vive le Watford! What? You're bored with Watford? Well, you've always got St Albans, Hemel, Bushey, Harrow, Uxbridge and the West End within easy reach.

- The best thing is to blow the whole damn place up and forget it ever exsisted
- LUTON TOWN FC
- The top of the town is crammed packed with nightspots. It's a fantastic place for a night out.
- Lots of pub's, one very good club 'Area', lot of places to eat and finally lots of very good looking women (have you noticed the amount of page 3 girls that are from Watford?)
- Knowing everyone that walks down the atreet.
- Walks in Cassiobury Park.
- Watford FC!
Good schools in the area.
Easy to get to London, just a shame about the train service!
- Peace Memorial sculpture beside the Town Hall. Although the council should keep it better.
- Watford Football Club
- PJs was the best I worked there, now the Halifax Building Society
- Getting onto the M1 link road on the way out,this usually takes about 30 minutes if you have been to the towns car parks.
- Cycling along the Grand Union from Hunton Bridge to Croxley on a summer evening

Excellent schooling
Only 20 minutes from Euston [but bloody expensive] and outside the rush hour you can drive into the West End within half an hour
- Tthe Harlequin shopping centre. Two floors with all the major shops including a John Lewis, M&S etc.
- The Parks
- The shops.
- Good shopping Good local newspaper Good cosmopolitan mix of people in the town
