- Anyone recall Mrs Fox's sweet hut located in front of the Empire Hall, opposite the old mechanics institute, right on the main foot traffic route to Wath. She was a saviour to us kids in the 70s who would call after the baths for a penny or tuppenny drink!
- Best cafe in Wath by a long shot is the Valley Tea Rooms opposite Wath market,good friendly staff and value for money by miles.
