- Pete Murphy from Bauhaus, Snooker Champ Peter Ebdon. thats it, star spotters.

- David frost used to go to Wrenn Seconadary school. Oh and of course Omah (spelling) the porn star. Who believe in or not has just brought a resteraunt. On the entrance to the market.
- Sir David Frost is an Old Boy of Wellingborough Grammar School. Johnny Hyde (England's youngest ever Rugby International) used to teach Biology and coach Rugby there too, also Bob Taylor (Barbarians & England No 8) coached the 2nd team!
- Thom Yorke was indeed born in Wellingborough, and lived the first few years of his life in Jubilee Cresent.
- Peter Ebdon the snooker player lives here.I have also been told that Thom Yorke o Radiohead was born here,dunno if the second one is true or not.
- Gotta be the top-ranking snooker ace, Peter Ebdon. Born and raised (I think) in wellingborough, he still lives here and co-owns a business with his brother. That's all I can tell you about him, so if anyone knows more, feel free to edit.
