- Local characters seem to be obese smelly people,beggars,pests,the "People of the Benches" munching and dribbling on the shit from the bakers and Abattoir floor scrapings that fills the Iceland shop that big fat brain dead mothers go to because they want to save their money for cigarettes and booze!Inside the Arndale Centre itself seem to be a tribe of security people that just chase after 14+ yr olds(not because they are shop-lifting) because they want their number.Pervos! 9/10 shoppers look like an obese zombie that cannot seem to walk faster than in SLOW motion due to the fat rubbing on their thighs and their cheap and nasty jogging bottoms eating their own backsides. The accent shouts out (I've had a head injury)All in all I think that there should be a free bun at the checkout for these pigs,to hurry them up...so,we can all get our shopping done quicker.

- Mr. OI OI SAVALOY! Lives in Joes fishbar. Hands permantley wedged, deep in pockets. May be violent. Very freaky.
- Yeah. Usualy a guy with a penny whistle and a dog. He's pretty cool. Theres a good folk guitarist who also appears regularly in the humble streets of Northampton.
- Karaoke Karon was a lady who used to dance to music in the middle of the street,sadly she stopped doing that a few years back.
- There used to be a slightly, raving mad women called Karaeoke Karen (excuse spelling) that danced wildly outside the Swansgate Centre most weekends (for free). Ginger hair and a superb range of tartan skirts. Mad as you like!
